RemindLife does not require account creation, registration, or login. You enter information directly into the application to schedule and manage personal tasks.

Depending on how you utilize the application, local data entry may include:

• Reminder titles, notes, and priority levels
• Dates, trigger times, recurrence schedules, and custom categories
• Voluntarily appended location notes or contact references
• Notification, alarm, and visual layout preferences

All such input remains strictly stored in local device storage and embedded local database tables (`SQLite`). RemindLife servers do not receive, store, or process these records.

2. Device Permissions, Notifications & Alarms

To deliver timely, scheduled alerts, RemindLife requests specific system-level Android permissions:

• Notification Permission (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`): Allows the system to display scheduled reminder cards and alerts in your system notification shade.
• Exact Alarm Permission (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` / `USE_EXACT_ALARM`): Required on Android 12+ (API 31+) to ensure critical alarms trigger precisely when specified, even when your device enters background power-saving modes (Doze mode).

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your Android OS settings ( Settings > Apps > RemindLife > Permissions ).

3. Advertising & Analytics (Google AdMob)

RemindLife utilizes Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the application. While RemindLife does not transmit your personal reminder contents, third-party advertising frameworks may automatically collect technical identifiers.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process:

• Google Advertising ID (AAID) and technical device identifiers
• IP address and approximate coarse location network data
• App performance logs, crash telemetry, and ad interaction metrics

This technical data is processed strictly to deliver, measure, and optimize ads, prevent fraud, and comply with ad inventory rules. Your personal reminder titles and notes are never shared with advertisers or used for advertising profiling.

4. Consent Management & European Regulations (GDPR/UK)

Where required by applicable laws—including the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland—RemindLife employs Google's certified User Messaging Platform (UMP) Consent Management Platform (CMP).

European users are presented with a consent dialog upon launching the application to manage choices regarding personalized vs. non-personalized advertising, cookies, and device identifiers. You may adjust or revoke your consent preferences at any time directly through the internal App Settings menu.

5. Third-Party Service Providers & Partner Sites

RemindLife interacts with trusted third-party SDKs to handle advertising infrastructure and privacy consent:

• Google AdMob: Used for ad delivery and monetization.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Used to gather and manage regional privacy consent choices.

6. Information We Do Not Collect

Because we operate on a local-first architecture without custom user accounts, we explicitly do not collect or store on our company servers:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your reminder entries, task histories, or internal notes
• Contact lists, precise GPS device location logs, or media files

7. Data Retention & Device Backups

Your reminder entries persist on your device for as long as the application remains installed. If you uninstall RemindLife, clear local application data via OS settings, or reset your device, your local database will be permanently deleted.

System-level cloud backups (such as Google Drive OS backups) are governed directly by your personal Google account settings and Android operating system policies.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)

RemindLife is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children on company servers. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately for corrective action.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because RemindLife does not sell or store personal reminder data on company servers, third-party ad preferences can be managed directly via your device settings ( Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID ).
